Pet Sitting

Jared has provided dog sitting for me for a few years now. He also currently comes to my house twice a week to walk my dog while I’m at work. My experience has been great! My dog Oliver is always excited to see Jared: affectionate, tail wagging, can’t sit still. Jared sends me a text message with photos of daily activities, food consumed, treats given, walks taken, pee/poop report, etc. Oliver always looks very happy in the photos; and when I pick him, he comes home tired and happy. I know Oliver is well looked after. Yes, absolutely, would employ Jared to take care of my dog; 100% recommend.
In your home: My goal is to keep your dog on its routine, this reduces stress for the dog and allows me to focus on keeping them happy and healthy.
I’ll feed your dog whatever food they normally eat (you’ll need to supply the food), give them approved treats, and administer any medications required. They’ll be walked twice per day and of course, will be pet and played with while you are away. I may walk other dogs during the day but will return to your home in the evening and will stay overnight. If your dog sleeps with you, no problem, I will sleep with them in the bed with me.

As your trusted house sitter, I will maintain a presence in your home (I’ll park on the driveway to signal someone is home), collect mail/packages, and bring out/in trash/recycle/green waste bins on trash day, water plants, and alert you of any emergency maintenance issues I observe, such as water leaks.
Additional services such as brushing, bathing, ear washing, brushing your dog’s teeth and grocery shopping to stock your fridge/pantry the day you arrive can be added to any dog/house sitting. Note, I’m not a groomer, but am also happy to take your dog to a groomer if you like.
