ABOUT

Our interaction will begin by visiting your dog in your home to temperament test, get to know more about your fur baby and create a profile that outlines your pets’ specific needs, vet, medications, medical conditions as well as other topics, such as access to your home.  We’ll spend time together finding out what’s important to you and I will customize services around you and your pet’s needs.

After each appointment, I will provide you a text message recap called “The Scoop” which includes details of your pet’s experience, including their status when I arrived, potty break details, and encounters with other dogs or people (if applicable).  With your permission, I may also include a photo of your dog.

We feel so fortunate to have found Jared. He does a great job walking our dogs. They are reactive to other dogs, and he has actually snuck in some training and they are so much better. Due to a typo (on my end), Jared accidentally gave one of my dogs some medication she didn’t need, however, due to his timely text communication it was caught so we were able to monitor the situation; our dog is fine. It was reassuring knowing that he was so on top of things.

While this is my full-time job and I intend to fulfill requests most of the time, there may be times when I am unable to personally accommodate you due to a scheduling conflict, or other circumstances.  If this occurs, I have a small number of trusted individuals who can fill in for me if needed.  All trusted partners are also background-checked.

  • Taryn is a certified GoodPup dog trainer, which features a gentle, evidenced-based approach to dog training with a strong emphasis on positive reinforcement. She has been a trusted dog walker and house sitter for over 5 years.  Her thoughtful approach puts dogs and people at ease.   

  • Carlos has been a trusted house sitter and dog walker for over 15 years.  His playful nature, broad smile and hearty laugh make him a favorite of dogs and people alike.  I have known Carlos for over 13 years and trust him with my own dog and home while away.  Carlos can also assist with cats if needed.  In addition to our standard service areas, he is also available for residents who live along the SR-56 corridor.  Se Habla Espanol

  • Gene is a favorite of his neighbors for frequently dog walking/dog sitting for them. He has over 10 years’ experience dog walking and dog sitting. He enjoys long hikes with the dogs he walks as does Kaia, his bull terrier. Gene volunteered with San Diego Pit Bull Rescue as a home assessment and dog on-boarding specialist with existing pets. I have known Gene for over 21 years and trust him with my own dog.
